Release & Reconnect Retreat – May 19-20, 2018
Join certified Martha Beck Life Coach, Jennifer, as she partners with yoga and meditation teacher, Justyn Bonomi, for a weekend retreat of releasing and reconnecting in Huntington Beach, CA.
Through use of a variety of wayfinding tools, yoga, meditation and Ayurveda, attendees will self-heal by releasing physical, spiritual and mental blocks. Participants have the opportunity to reconnect with their bodies and higher selves, as well as connect with fellow tribe members in a safe, welcoming and peaceful space. And if that weren’t enough, all of this will take place on the beach while feeling the warm sun and sand, hearing and watching the waves crash, and tasting the salty sea air.
All yoga and meditation levels are welcomed and appreciated. This is a learning environment intended to inspire and help you explore ways to improve your health. We all start somewhere, so if you’re considering attending, this is a great introduction to the benefits of this practice.

Justyn Bonomi Bio
Justyn was born and raised in Orange County, California. On a volleyball scholarship, she attended UC, Irvine where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics. During the culmination of her college years, Justyn discovered that her passion in life was travel and self-healing. She is now a flight attendant, a certified yoga and meditation teacher, and a lifelong learner of natural health and wellness.
Reaching this point was a journey…
From childhood until early adulthood, Justyn experienced many traumatic events that resulted in severe anxiety and depression. Unable to function in everyday life, Justyn was put on several anti-depressants and sedatives, which only numbed her pain and allowed her to bury it even deeper. This continued disconnection from emotions that she never learned to process led to even greater disease that manifested itself in eating disorders, addiction, and overall reckless and self-sabotaging behavior.
At 22 years old, reaching a breaking point of bleak hopelessness, she experienced her first spiritual enlightenment. From that point on, Justyn took herself off all her medications and was determined to heal her mind, body, and spirit in the most natural ways possible. Through a combination of yoga and meditation, along with a balanced diet and lifestyle, Justyn accessed a mindful state, in which she could not only release the pain of the past, but also create space to experience lasting and sustainable gratitude and joy.
Justyn expanded her knowledge and practice of mindfulness and self-healing in the jungles in Goa, India where she earned a 200-hour Yoga Teaching Training certification, a 50-hour Prenatal Yoga certification (both certified by Yoga Alliance), as well as certificates of completion in courses of Eastern Medicine such as Ayurveda, Holistic Nutrition, and Yoga Nidra. She enjoys teaching yoga and meditation to people of all ages and abilities.
Although life is still an unpredictable roller coaster of experiences, Justyn continues to seek love in all areas of her life and has vowed to help others do the same.
Registration does not include transportation to/from the event or hotel accommodations, which must be handled by registered participants. Lunch and water will be provided to all registered attendees on Saturday, May 19 and Sunday, May 20. All other meals and beverages are not included. Registrants must provide their own yoga mat and towel if they choose to participate in the yoga portions of the retreat weekend.
